This is quite good to use on a Warrior, especially one who uses alot of energy-based attack skills, as these are not spells you don't suffer the energy penalty.
Like all skills in the game; it has its place. There is little point in posting how much you hate a particular skill, as this helps no-one.

Mending is particularly good on a solo build. Has a permenant slot on my W/Mo ;-)

dont pass this skill by! i was on a team with a warrior that cast this spell on me and along with my peace and harmony i had a 5 pip energy regen even while running divine boon. Needless to say, we tore it up.

Some people. I swear. The +1 Energy regen is what you are really looking for. Just because a skill doesn't seem imediately useful, that does not mean it has no use at all. Trust me, this skill helps >

What class could desperately use more energy-regen pips, while hardly casts spells?
WARRIORS!
Any questions?

The reason this skill is so rarely used, is because its target other spell that is best put on a caster, and can't easily be run by another caster. Meaning, one of its best uses is for a warrior to put it on a monk (scince the Warrior can depend on adrenalin attacks and skills). Now, how many warriors out there would do such a thing? Not many. You see far too many W/Mos in pvp, who cast mending on themselves, not on thier monk, let alone Succor.

"but im a tank!!!!1"

yes but you cant just blame it on the warriors. Many others besides a true monk rarely bring skills in pvp that are used to benefit someone other than yourself. I have only had someone give me succor as monk twice. I have never had a necro give me a blood ritual or blood is power energy boost in pvp.

Succor is practicly a pernament slot in my W/Mo's pve build. I cast it on monks and only have 1 other energy consuming skill on my bar, wich I rarely use. I normaly run it on 2 monks at once.

It is better than mender or a self heal because it gives your healers more energy to heal!

It's skills like this that make SMART tanks an asset to any team, I use this in CA on a monk (IF I'm lucky enough to get a heal/prot) and run adrenal skills.

IQ of a self-mending tank: Leeroy Jenkins

IQ of a monk succoring tank: Einstein.

Even though warriors don't need much energy, when running succor you really harm your damage output.

So succor is not always what you want on your warrior.

y not the warrior can just run adrenaline skills and just have succor place them on a monk and on a caster and the monk and caster will thank u for life and since monk hass more energy he can then heal u. It is a mutualism .

There's no adrenal equivalent to Frenzy, though. A warrior without increased attack speed is a lot less dangerous than one with.

Whether Succor on two casters is worth being less dangerous, that's the question.

There's no adrenal equivalent to Frenzy, true, but there are substitutes. Battle Rage, for example. It's not increased attack speed, but it does gain you adrenaline at double the normal rate, which is a decent substitute, methinks. More adrenaline means more adrenal skills used, which leads to good damage output (the goal). Granted, Battle Rage is elite, but its adrenal based, replaces Sprint (increased run speed) and gets you adrenaline quicker to use those wonderful attack skills. A Battle Rage build on a W/Mo using Succor on his monks... now that's something I'd like to try...

Succor slows down your damage output on your war. There's ways around it, like bonetti's.. and others.. so imho, it's only worth the slot if you are unable to play correctly.

Correct! that is exactly what I do in CA and with battle rage on with an axe you just go: Penetrating attack, Dismember, Executioner's strike, Penetrating Attack (using disrupting chop at any point after first Penetrating Attack) and right as Battle rage is about to end, hit it again. Obviously not as powerful as Eviscerate, but it still deals respectable damage and maintains double adren and sprint.

I have used that skill setup with great success in CA.
